Thank You – Everyone, Everything Was Great!

Despite the terrible smoke that engulfed the Central Coast on Tuesday we managed to hold our annual Community Christmas Party at Kariong Neighbourhood Centre, and what a lovely day it was to start the Christmas Celebrations.
We shared laughter, great food and company and were entertained by the Nearly Vintage Choir and our Kariong Neighbourhood Centre Ukulele Group. The room looked lovely too thanks to our before and after school children who prepared the table decorations.
A huge thanks to Board, staff and volunteers who helped on the day to make it such a great success.
You are all amazing!

OUR COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS PARTY – WHAT A WONDERFUL WAY TO END THE YEAR 

To the members of our local community who came and celebrated Christmas with us at Kariong Neighbourhood Centre on 10th December 2019, thank you for all the fun and laughs!

What a great day shared together. The Nearly Vintage Choir had us singing along to “Santa Baby”, while Garry’s Ukulele Group (who meet at the Centre every Saturday) brought the whole room into the band, with our Board President Ron Thomsen on bells, and our Little Big School Coordinator Miss Lyn helping back up the chorus. Lunch was a smorgasbord of roast chicken, ham, Greek salad and pasta salad, followed by a classic Aussie pavlova with passionfruit, strawberries, peaches and cream for dessert. But best of all was getting to meet and mingle with friends old & new.

We would like to extend sincere thanks to all the volunteers, Board and staff who worked seamlessly behind the scenes to make this celebration possible. We are especially grateful for your help and the contribution you make to our community.
