We’ve had a fantastic Term One at Kariong Out Of School Hours Care.

This term has seen us acquire a woodwork bench to extend the children’s creative interests, to support those budding woodworkers. We have been doing lots of collaborating with our group to ensure our activities are varied and interesting. Loose parts play and open ended resources encourage the children to use those imaginations and steer their own learning journeys, resulting in the creation of dinosaurs, dragons, race cars, and robots!

We have been doing some fundraising at the centre and we are looking forward to buying some new resources for the children with a focus on skill building and exploration.

We held an Easter raffle with donations from the community and would like to extend our sincere thanks for the support given to us by the families who use our service and the wider community. We appreciate it very much.
