Its time for this month’s news from Kariong Rural Fire Brigade.

As the final month of winter approaches, it is now the perfect time to prepare for the upcoming fire season. Preparation tasks can include cleaning out gutters and drainage channels, securing flammable items such as firewood away from the house, gathering important documents into an easy to grab area and developing your bushfire survival plan.  For information and guidance on developing your survival plan, please visit

The brigade would also  like to extend an invitation for you to come along to the station at 4 Dandaloo street on Saturdays from 8am to discuss any questions or concerns  with our friendly firies.
